1. What ComparePetPrices Does

ComparePetPrices is a free service that helps you compare pet food, treats and supply prices across major UK retailers. We maintain a catalogue of 0+ products and show you which of our 10 partner retailers stock each product.

When you click a retailer link on ComparePetPrices, it takes you to the product on the retailer's website.

3. Our Plans for Affiliate Partnerships

We are actively working on establishing affiliate partnerships with UK retailers through the Awin affiliate network. Once approved, we plan to:

• Show real-time prices from retailer product feeds
• Display live stock availability
• Provide direct, tracked affiliate links to product pages
• Earn commission from purchases made through our links

When affiliate links are active, the commission we receive will come from the retailer, not from you. You will pay the same price whether you reach the retailer through ComparePetPrices or directly.

ComparePetPrices currently features 10 major UK retailers:

• Zooplus (zooplus.co.uk)
• PetPlanet (petplanet.co.uk)
• Pet Supermarket (pet-supermarket.co.uk)
• VetUK (vetuk.co.uk)

We plan to add more retailers as the site grows.

5. How We Plan to Make Money

ComparePetPrices is currently a free service with no revenue. Our planned business model is affiliate commissions:

1. You find a product on ComparePetPrices
2. You click through to a retailer's website via an affiliate-tracked link
3. You make a purchase on the retailer's site
4. The retailer pays us a small commission (typically 5-10%)
5. You pay the same price as if you had visited the retailer directly

This model is not yet active. We will update this disclosure when affiliate links go live.

6. About Our Retailer Links

Currently, all retailer links on ComparePetPrices open a Google web search scoped to the retailer's website. These are not affiliate links and we do not earn any commission from them.

We are working on replacing these with direct product links and affiliate-tracked URLs as our partnerships are established.

This disclosure complies with UK advertising standards requirements. We believe in being transparent about our business model, even before affiliate links are active.
